The Role

The Production Associate is at the heart of our factory, playing a crucial role in creating the delicious buñuelos our customers love. You will master every step of our production process, from mixing the first ingredients to packaging the final product. In this dynamic role, you will work on a rotating schedule, spending time at each station on the assembly line to ensure every buñuelo is made with quality and care. This role reports to the Production Manager.

Responsibilities

• Prepare our signature buñuelo dough from scratch, following established recipes and quality standards.
• Operate machinery to sheet the dough into long, flat sheets and cut it into perfect shapes.
• Manage the frying station, carefully cooking buñuelos to a golden-brown perfection.
• Oversee the dusting station, ensuring each buñuelo is generously coated in sugar.
• Carefully package finished products, ensuring they meet presentation standards and are ready for our customers.
• Lift and move heavy ingredients and dough (up to 60 lbs) without assistance.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment across all stations.

Requirements

• Ability to work in a warm environment due to heat from the fryers.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 60 lbs) without assistance.
• Strong physical endurance and the ability to stand for extended periods.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and tracking production counts.
• Experience in a kitchen or food production is a plus, but not required. We will train the right person!

• Availability: Monday – Saturday, 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Compensation: $12 – $14 per hour
